A New Way to Shower

By jem777 - Posted on 25 February 2010

A client may not know or understand what a Vichy shower is, so it is up to the spa therapist to inform and explain it to them. Your clients need to know what is expected of them for treatment and what they will get out of it. Clients will appreciate you taking the time to explain the advantages of a Vichy shower so that they can determine if this is a treatment that would be suitable for them.

The first job of the spa therapist is to learn for herself what a Vichy shower is. So let's start off by answering any questions about it. What is a shower trains? It is a type of wet body treatment where a client lies on a wet table that is usually cushioned, and water pours out of several different shower heads. This is also incorporated with many different body scrubs. Towels are usually draped along the body and usually something is placed over the face to keep minimal water on it.

A Vichy shower enables a spa therapist to complete all treatments in a single location, without having the client shower in a different room or area. Clients tend to love the relaxing massage effects from the shower heads that compliment many different body treatments such as body scrubs.

A spa therapist should describe the benefits of a Vichy shower to the client and explain how the results are achieved. The shower head water pressure is designed to alternate and pulsate hot and cold water, which creates a soothing raining effect that is incredibly therapeutic. This shower really goes above and beyond the original shower that just rinses the body.

The Vichy shower provides a calming and relaxing wet body treatment for any client who wants to feel pampered. It has been making its way in many spas because of its raining sensation and calming effect. You can start telling your clients about the exciting benefits of a Vichy shower and get a feel for whether they would enjoy this treatment.
